Ok hear is my "Eruption" tab and for all of you out there trying to nail this solo
note for note im telling you that i have never heard eddie play it the same time twice.
And im going to admit that this tab is not 100% correct. But it sounds close if you play
it fast enough. So this is my tab for the 1:42 version From Van Halen's first album.
legend:
~ = vrabrato
p = pull off
b = bend
r = release note from bend
h = hammer on
+ = tap
w = whammy bar
/ = slide
/X = pick slide
pm = palm mute
(ps) = pick squeel or pinch harmonic
DB = dive bomb
/-\ = slide up and back down the neck quickly on that string
ok lets get started first you have to tune your guitar down half a step so the

disappear and release it back up slowly
i have just changed these next three bars from what i put originally because i finally
figured out what ed is doing and this sounds way better

"e" if you dont have a floyd rose bridge to raise the note just push down
on the string past the nut to get the raised note affect

all play it and i hope this tab helps because i could never find a good tab
